Cancel or delay all public examinations due to the coronavirus

Rejected 13 signatures

What the petition asks

To Delay or cancel all public examinations due to the coronavirus. Delaying the exams to July would be sensible, however, the virus may well still be around. Cancelling the exams is the best option, as it will lower the risk of the virus spreading. Give A Level students predicted grades for uni.
Cancelling all public examinations is the best answer, as it will reduce the spread of the coronavirus in exam halls. Pupils aren’t going to want to go into school to take exams knowing they could catch the virus then spread it within their families. Pupils will be under pressure already, let alone worrying about catching the virus mid-exam. Please listen to the public! Pupils have parents with underlying health conditions!

Why it was rejected
