Students to be refunded part of their uni fees due to strikes and coronavirus

What the petition asks
Students that have been affected by the multiple strikes should be refunded part of their universities fees. It’s unfair to pay £9250 a year for cancelled lectures due to lecturers going on strike. Our learning has been disrupted and we should not pay for something we are not receiving
As SFE has a partnership with the department for education, we believe the government should step in and help us with this matter. We don’t believe students have been given the power to take control of this situation.
It’s unfair for students to go into debt, yet the services we are paying for is being compromised, without us having a say in the matter.
Furthermore, we do believe that although universities have been shut down due to coronavirus , this is still time we have payed for.
