Open unused military camps to ease preassure on hosital beds for coronavirus

What the petition asks

Have the goverment or parliment open unused military bases and use them as temporary hospitals for people who have serious cases of coronavirus which would free up hospital beds for people with other illnesses
The goverment should consider this due to the pure scale of the infected or to be infected and would relieve pressure on hospitals and free up beds

Why it was rejected

The UK Government or Parliament was already taking the action it asked for.

Since you started this petition, the Government has announced a number of temporary hospitals. Decisions on the location of these are clincial decisions based on need and availabilty of space.
