Pay all student nurses to be on placement during the coronavirus pandemic

During the period of increased strain on the NHS we are petitioning for student nurses to be financially compensated for their hours due to the increased risk they face, interacting in close proximity to patients on a daily basis.

Student placements are a matter for the educational institutions the student is enrolled in, the organisation sponsoring the placement, and the regulatory bodies that are responsible for the qualifications, not the Government or Parliament.

If you have concerns about continuing with a placement you should raise these with the educational institution you are enrolled in, the organisation sponsoring your placement, and the relevant regulatory body.
