What the petition asks

The parliament could advise hotel and event industries to take pandemic more seriously when it comes to taking care of their employees’ health and safety.

The industry strongly urges government to support event industries and advise for flexibility of working from home. We need solid actions!

Having requested a reasonable prevention measure & in line with UK Government’s advise to wfh most of our requests are not taken seriously. Isn’t this essential for the general public health as well? Our industry is suffering financially as well so as work performances. There shall be an equality between employer & employee health. By reducing the risk of spreading the infection in offices mean that we will have a strong workforce. Our work is very accessible via laptops & this is providable.

The UK Government or Parliament was already taking the action it asked for.
