Routinely test emergency services staff members for COVID-19.

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

The government needs to have a policy were they routinely test emergency services staff members for COVID-19. They are unable to self isolate because if they did there wouldn't be a workforce left.
The emergency servicesare the hero's of our country, we must keep them fighting the virus for the public and we must protect them. If every emergency service worker self isolated every time they fell ill the service would collapse as it was outstretched before COVID-19. The government needs to make a plan to test their workforce.

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

We can't accept your petition because the UK Government and Parliament aren't responsible for the issue you raise. The conduct of tests is a clinical decision for the NHS, not the UK Government or Parliament.
