What the petition asks

Want all workers to have a right to get paid their average pay during self isolation or covid sickness
Can be calculated from 6 weekly wages or 4 monthly pay cheques
For the duration they are off, this to ease stress and allow for recovery without worry of bills and helps economy

To allow workers and families to carry on buying essential items and paying essential bills during time of sickness and worry
Would ease pressure on benefit system as workers would get average pay from their employer

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
