Force the temporary shut down of Pubs, Clubs, Theatres and Cinemas

Rejected 19 signatures

What the petition asks

Order the temporary closure of pubs, clubs and other venues to ensure a consistent approach is implemented, and small business owners are not left having to make the catastrophic financial descision to close their own doors. To release a finaincial rescue package to those complying with policy.
By not ordering the temporary closure of pubs, clubs and other venues, but at the same time encouraging potential customers to stay away due to the Corona Virus pandemic, businesses are left with no ability to claim on insurances, or recourse to compensation or support and many are likely to be forced to permanently close. This is a decision that needs clarity and governmental action rather than leaving small, often family run, businesses to make an impossible decision.
