Allow Coach Drivers to take a Fast track HGV license to keep the country going.

What the petition asks
With events/venues being shut and possible school closures there are plenty of coach companies that will be facing difficult times and possibly drivers being laid off. Therefore I recommend coach drivers be giving HGV licenses with either a fast track license or training to help with supplies.
Coach companies are already started to suffer with drivers facing job losses not to mention the demand on supplies will be greater if the country goes into lockdown, and with coach drivers that drive equivalent if not bigger vehicles already it will help take any strain off the transport division.
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. Commercial bus and coach drivers can already fast-track through the acquired rights relating to Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) required. You can find out more here:

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
