Covid-19-Suspend Mortgage,Rent,Loans & Household Utilities Direct Debits.

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

Unprecedented times requires unprecedented actions. Many people are unable to take time out from work and many will continue to work even if they have coronavirus symptoms. This will burden the NHS even more than necessary. Others will be told by employers to stay at home without pay.
People will not be able to meet their financial commitments and some in fear of loosing out financially they will put others at risk. Government needs to step in and suspend all essential Direct Debits for all households. This will not only relieve the mental stress but will enable people to accept taking time out to isolate without a financial burden.
