Government imposed rationing of essential items & limitation on bulk purchases

Rejected 10 signatures

What the petition asks

Essential cleaning, sanitary, medicines and other health related products should be rationed and dispensed through controlled channels. Bulk and excessive purchase of food and household goods should be limited and monitored to prevent a strain on the supply chain.
Due to senseless and reckless panic buying vulnerable members of society will be put at greater risk. This will further exacerbate the situation and strain the healthcare system. The current supply chain can and will be at risk if action is not taken to curb the actions of the few ill informed and the greedy. We are and we must remain civilised and this is a time for a concerted effort by every individual.
