During COVID-19 pandemic: Gas, electricity, water bills and rent to be suspended

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

The self-employed stressed that now many are forced to stay at home, not attend work, market is paralyzed, lockdown country, period of quarantine. One cannot forecast how long this current situation will go on for. So such a measure is needed so that no one in UK, is left without funds.
4.8 million people are registered self-employed and make up 15% of UK's workforce (2017 Office of National Statistics).

Majority of private rented sector tenancies are not entitled to any help or add payment.

I want the Government During on COVID-19 pandemic: Gas, electricity, water bills and rents to be suspended.

The Government are running the risk of said people continuing going to work as just like everyone else we have bills to pay and thus spreading the virus.
