Allow A-Level and GCSE students the option to take their predicted grades

Rejected 11 signatures

What the petition asks

Those taking their A-Levels and GCSE examinations this summer should be given the option to be graded in another way, including coursework, predicted grades and past examinations
With the uncertainty of schools staying open, the cancellations of revision sessions (such as the tutor2u Psychology booster) and fears over COVID-19, many students are struggling to effectively revise. I am asking the UK government to make it an option for those who would prefer it to take their predicted grades or a grade based on coursework and current predicted grades (allowing for grades to improve), reducing stress and the need for unwarranted gatherings.

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

Decisions about exams are a matter for exam boards and individual schools, and are not a matter for the UK Government or Parliament.
