Make Child labour illegal in developing countries

Rejected 15 signatures

What the petition asks

We believe that countries should unite to stop the rising number of child labour cases in developing countries
the government and parliament are the only people which can do decisions for countries which people have to follow.

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

Laws in other countries are a matter for the governments and legislatures of those countries, not the UK Government or Parliament.

You could start a new petition calling on the Government to work with foreign governments to end child labour practices, or to impose additional requirements on UK businesses to ensure that their supply chains do not involve child labour.
