Implement in full the recommendations made by the UK Committee on Climate Change

What the petition asks
To create a “Climate and Ecological Emergency Department”, with ring-fenced funding, that will oversee the work required to ensure that the Government implements the recommendations made by the UK Committee on Climate Change.
The report from the UK Committee on Climate Change in 2019 revealed the government had only implemented in full one of the twenty-five recommendations the Committee had made. To overcome this block, there needs to be a fully funded department responsible for ensuring that the annual recommendations are implemented and to estimate the cost. A Climate tax also needs to be introduced to fund this.
