What the petition asks

In light of the COVID-19 outbreak, there has already been untold damage to the educational prospects of students up and down the country. With the virus set to peak bang in the middle of the exam timetable, it is the Government's duty to mitigate here and now further impact, and award predictions.

Bearing in mind the Government's position to keep schools open, this move allows for that policy to continue unless otherwise necessary whilst also ensuring that pupils themselves are not disadvantaged from localised and regional disruptions to their education.

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
