Basic Universal Income to every family in the United Kingdom

What the petition asks
The Coronavirus pandemic is the biggest economic crisis since World War II. We ask government to pay Basic Universal Income to every family in the UK during the pandemic. Such move will boost people's confidence and increase public safety.
Indirect measures such as supporting business do not affect all people in the country. Providing direct support could be done rapidly. Beyond NHS services, we must act to preserve every family's ability to feed itself during this open ended period. Basic Universal Income would do exactly that.
