Medals for NHS workers in recognition of selfless service to the country.

What the petition asks
To officially recognise the work and service given by NHS workers in a similar manner to that of other public services.
Other public services are officially recognised and awarded medals for service during arduous events and when service has been given through times of adversity. During 2020 the nation has relied on this unsung service to care for others, often putting themselves in positions of increased personal risk.
I believe it is past time that all NHS workers were officially thanked and recognised for their heroism and service to the country.
