Test frontline NHS staff for COVID-19 as a priority

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

I want the government to protect the frontline doctors and nurses who are putting their own safety on the line to help our country get through this pandemic.

Doctors and nurses that show symptoms or are in contact with anyone that shows symptoms should be tested instead of isolated.
The government should prioritise testing doctors and nurses who show symptoms, come into contact with anyone that has symptoms or anyone that has tested positive.

Instead of asking them to isolate without proof that they are sick and therefore taking them out of the workforce where we are already struggling.

It is logical to test them first, if they test positive, remove them, if they test negative allow them to continue working and supporting the already strained NHS frontline workforce.

Why it was rejected
