What the petition asks

Give student nurses a salary during the pandemic, let us gain our of 2300 clinical hours, this way we can support the NHS and fellow nurses in crisis and support ourselves and famailes

To help with our educational requirements in order to GAIN the NCM Standards and requirements, at the same time as providing clinical support in a time of crisis

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

Student placements are a matter for the educational institutions the student is enrolled in, the organisation sponsoring the placement, and the regulatory bodies that are responsible for the qualifications, not the Government or Parliament.

If you have concerns about continuing with a placement you should raise these with the educational institution you are enrolled in, the organisation sponsoring your placement, and the relevant regulatory body.
