Get all careworkers paid more than minimum wage.

I want careworkers to get more than minimum wage working with vulnerable adults, they have proven they are the backbone of the UK during this Covid-19 pandemic

The UK Government sets a National Minimum Wage and a National Living Wage, which applies to all workers. The Government and Parliament are not responsible for setting minimum wages for particular industries. This is a matter for individual employers.

We have published a petition calling for the Government to increase the minimum wage, which you might like to sign: Make the minimum wage equal for all ages and increase to at least £10

We have also published petitions calling for key workers to be given hazard pay, a bonus, and tax relief, which you might like to sign:

Give all key workers a 100% tax and Nat. Ins. holiday through COVID-19 crisis
Make hazard pay mandatory for key workers in the midst of COVID 19.
Pay bonus to all key workers
