What the petition asks

Very obvious reason. Desperate times for desperate measures.

This is a global crisis. So parliament would save lives if they take action. It's been declined before, however Prime minister and parliament absolutely need to reconsider this matter.

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
