To increase child benefit payments to support children during school shut down
Rejected
21 signatures
What the petition asks
Significantly increase child benefit to meet the extra costs such as heating, water, clothing and food for parents having children at home indefinitely.
So children do not slip into poverty and they do not suffer as a result of the government’s measures to cancel school.
Why it was rejected
There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
You may wish to sign this petition calling for the same action: Double Child Benefit Payments and increase annually in line with Inflation Rise.
