What the petition asks
To make all inhalers free for diagnosed asthmatics during the COVID-19 outbreak
In a time of a public health crisis with a virus that effects the respiratory system, and of financial uncertainty people may not be able to afford inhalers. If they contract the virus they won’t be able to attempt to self treat at home, resulting in the need for NHS care. In order to reduce the stress on the NHS asthmatics should be temporarily allowed free inhalers, on prescription, to try and reduce the number of people going to hospital for respitory help.
