Lower the newly increased council tax bills during the Covid-19 Pandemic

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

Lower all council tax bills that have just increased during the Covid-19 pandemic.
After receiving a new council tax bill on 19/03/2020, I soon realised they have increased the bill. Due to many people having to self isolate, or are unable to work due to school closures, there are limited income. The increase of council tax bills is an insensitive act whilst they’re aware that people of the UK and Local Authority areas are struggling for income due to self isolating or unable to work due to school closures and this being their only source of childcare.
