Get university to reimburse students accommodation fee for the last term

What the petition asks

We want the government or parliament to get all university that has closed due to COVID-19 pay back the last term accommodation fee to students as they have gone home due to the virus.

The reason why we want this to happen is because it is much safer to be at home where there is food and medicine from your parents, incase we get the virus, in addition as university student we don’t have a lot of money to stay stocked up while everyone is bulk buying and there is nothing left. Furthermore some students will have to pay rent back at home while the university rent too while we are not staying there and the accommodation isn’t being used which isn’t fair as this is for our own health and well-being.

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
