The Charter should include:
The Charter should include:
For the patient & family to be treated with dignity and respect in their own home
Provider should be CQC checked & cleared before providing any care
Appropriate care: Complex care needs requiring Healthcare not Homecare provision
No immediate withdrawal of care without proper consultation or a satisfactory replacement being agreed. Provider to follow own T&C's
No single carer when there is a statutory requirement for double-handled care
To meet statutory requirements for arrival times
To provide point of contact to reasonably discuss issues and to contact clients when problems arise
My late mother, Mrs Judith Lanceley received unacceptable care. Establishing a Care Charter in her name, to help others, as part of her legacy
