Make emergency funding available for Self employed Childminders

Rejected 10 signatures

What the petition asks

Offer some kind of support or funding to help us through this time. We cant possibly support our families or pay utilities on whats roughly £70 a week sick pay
The main focus is being on schools and day nurseries, us self employed childminders are being forgotten and are already having to refund parents who have already paid fees for childcare, which then has begun putting us in debt already

Why it was rejected

The UK Government or Parliament was already taking the action it asked for.

Since this petition was started, the Government has said that most self-employed people can claim a taxable grant worth 80% of their trading profits up to a maximum of £2,500 per month for the next 3 months.
