Student Finance to fund another term in light of university delay due to COVID19

What the petition asks

For Government to pressure Student Finance to fund all final year students for another term in light of COVID-19 delaying exams and extending teaching hours.

I am asking for this because students find it hard to fund their cost of living whilst studying. With everything being extended over the summer students can't commit to full time jobs as they are still studying and therefore cannot fund themselves. Many students cannot rely on the support of parents and family to help them through uni and the private sector is laying off so many staff finding a part time job is almost impossible.

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

The payment of student loans is a matter for the Student Loans Company and Student Finance England, not the Government or Parliament.
