What the petition asks
To adopt a responsible approach to control the spread of Coronavirus.
Looking at the current measures the government is more concerned with the economy and the financial impact rather than saving lives. Extreme measures are needed fast to avoid it turning into a national disaster as it has done in Italy already. The Medical Professionals in Italy are urging other countries to learn from their situation and have emphasised the need for a total lockdown to prevent the virus from spreading, this needs to happen now!
