Allow bus and coach drivers to drive hgvs during the covid 19 pandemic

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

Allow bus and coach drivers to gain a category c licence to help out with the increasing demand for hgvs
Due to covid19 there is a surge in demand for hgv drivers, but there are not enough drivers to cover the increasing amount of goods that need to be delivered.
Bus and coach drivers are able to safely drive upwards of 70 people around safely usually in bigger vehicles than most hgvs and a huge amount of them are now out of work as all the schools are closed & people aren't travelling so during this pandemic they should be allowed to help out with delivering essential supplies around the country.
