Petition · past parliament

Transport for London should suspend Congestion Charge for PHV for 3 months.

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

INSTRUCT TFL TO SUSPEND CHARGING TO ALREADY STRUGGLING PHV INDUSTRY AND IT WILL ASSIST DRIVERS TO OBTAIN WORK. DUE TO SCHOOLS CLOSED AND A REDUCED BUSINESS ACTIVITIES, VERY LESS POLLUTION IS IN THE CENTRAL LONDON CONGESTION ZONE AREA. IT WILL ASSIST FINANCIALLY TO THE PHV DRIVERS AND OPERATORS.
The industry is already STRUGGLING to cope and a congestion charge to be on the road is not needed. All PHV vehicles are low emissions with MOT done twice a year along with euro 6 diesel and petrol engines. TFL stop charging during Christmas period so why not now. The drivers are already finding it difficult to afford.
