Support the self-employed the same as employees during the Covid-19 crisis.

The government has announced that they are giving employees 80% of their wage during the Covid-19 outbreak however the self-employed are only getting universal credit equivalent to £94 a week. Many are the breadwinners of households and this is not a liveable wage during uncertain times!

Since this petition was started, the Government has said that most self-employed people can claim a taxable grant worth 80% of their trading profits up to a maximum of £2,500 per month for the next 3 months.
