Include retail staff in the 80% salary pay in the coronavirus pandemic

What the petition asks
Government will cover 80% of pay for people unable to work within the retail sector as well as cafes, pubs, bars, restaurants & gyms.
While the coronavirus epidemic is going on the retail sector has been missed from the current pay package the government are offering. Other sectors are getting government grants which would cover 80% of the salary of staff who are kept on by their employer but are unable to work.
The new coronavirus job retention scheme will cover wages up to £2,500 a month.
But the retail sector has not been included the recent update although it’s been hit the same as the sectors listed.
