What the petition asks

Allow immigrant workers who pay tax to access public funds as many of them have "No access to public funds" printed on their Biometric Resident Permits.

Many immigrant workers have no access to public funds. They work and pay tax like all others whilst paying for childcare and all other expenses from their earnings. And they have to pay thousands of pounds on their visa applications and NHS charges every single time when they extend their stay. Many immigrants struggle with their families even after working long hours every day. Giving them access to public funds will cover some of their costs and that will give them some stressless family time.

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
