What the petition asks

All households are struggling to pay their mortgage, rent, bills and feed their families during this pandemic. Council Tax is a huge bill, from income.

This will help people budget easier, as jobs are not guaranteed and many self employed are struggling and there will be an escalation of people dealing with their mental health, due to lack of income. Fund local authorities to freeze Council Tax.

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
