Provide Statutory Sick Pay for ALL people who have worked in the last 3 months.
Rejected

What the petition asks
To provide SSP for all workers, who have paid tax and or National Insurance for at least the last 3 months. People who are signed up with agencies but don't work every day, have no guaranteed hours, are casual labour or work at home and online.
Through no fault of these people, they now find there's no work but are not entitled to SSP / financial assistance. They're not classed as employees, have no contracts outlining set hours in which they work each week or might not work enough hours each week. Yet, they pay and will pay their tax and NI each month. They need help through COVID-19 crisis, just as contracted staff do and the self-employed.
Why it was rejected
There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
