self employed should be entitled to the 80% pay as the employed are entitled to.

The government need to help the self employed due to the lack of work on the basis they can’t work due to Covid-19 this announcement for 80% pay is fantastic but to not pay it to the 6 million self employed Britain’s that pay in to the same tax system is a disgrace.

Since this petition was started, the Government has said that most self-employed people can claim a taxable grant worth 80% of their trading profits up to a maximum of £2,500 per month for the next 3 months.
