Include self-employed in the 80% of earnings you are already giving employees.

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

I want self employed people to be treated fairly and equal rights to the same percentage of pay as employees.
I am selfemployed, I am in a Vulnerable group, I am on the list of Government key workers. I have been advised like all other vulnerable people to isolate for 12 weeks. Minimum.. Yet all I could get is just under £400 in SSP/UC. When employees can get upto £2500..it is just not fair and equal

Why it was rejected

The UK Government or Parliament was already taking the action it asked for.

Since this petition was started, the Government has said that most self-employed people can claim a taxable grant worth 80% of their trading profits up to a maximum of £2,500 per month for the next 3 months.
