What the petition asks

Allow us to be included in the 80% salary scheme based on our average salary.

Universal credit or statutory sick pay won't be enough to cover the bills.

As a self employed driving instrutor I won't be able to make enough money.
I'm sure others are in the same situation.

Why it was rejected

The UK Government or Parliament was already taking the action it asked for.

Since this petition was started, the Government has said that most self-employed people can claim a taxable grant worth 80% of their trading profits up to a maximum of £2,500 per month for the next 3 months.
