Guarantee the self-employed 80% of their income during the COVID-19 pandemic

Employees have been guaranteed 80% of their salary during the current crisis, up to £2500 per month. The best available to self-employed people is currently £94.25 a week, via Universal Credit. This is unfair for the 15% of the population who are self-employed.

Since this petition was started, the Government has said that most self-employed people can claim a taxable grant worth 80% of their trading profits up to a maximum of £2,500 per month for the next 3 months.
