Postpone Council tax and Utility bill payments for households during the Covid-19 epidemic . To support households and families to survive through this time.
We are in unprecedented. Tines with the onset of Covid-19 .
Households are struggling to survive financial and the high cost of council tax and utility bills during this time. Isolation and social distancing will mean higher utility bills, only adds to the pressures on those already struggling.

Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
Suspending payments for rent, council tax, mortgages and utilities is a matter for individual landlords, councils, mortgage providers and utility providers, and not the UK Government or Parliament.
