Rejected 12 signatures

What the petition asks

Stop private companies from profiting from fines at hospitals during and start of the outbreak of Covid 19.
Wait times have in creased during the pandemic. Companies should not be profiting from extended stays at hospitals.

Issuing fines adds extra stress to already upset patient or family member. Especially when they have no control how long they will be there for.

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

Car parking is a matter for individual hospital trusts.

The Government has funded hospital car parking for NHS staff during the Covid-19 pandemic. You could start a petition calling for the Government to fund hospital parking for all users for this period.
