What the petition asks

Make the system to support employment during the coronavirus a fair system to both those on PAYE and self employed

See Above, give self employed who are now unemployed 80% of the net profit per their 2019 tax return divided by 12, monthly

Why it was rejected

The UK Government or Parliament was already taking the action it asked for.

Since this petition was started, the Government has said that most self-employed people can claim a taxable grant worth 80% of their trading profits up to a maximum of £2,500 per month for the next 3 months.
