Self-employed to receive Coronavirus funding to match employee salary bailout

Protect the self-employed workers within the UK and grant funding to each self-employed person to match the 80% grant funding of employee salaries. Self-assessment forms should be used to calculate the 80% income figure.

Since this petition was started, the Government has said that most self-employed people can claim a taxable grant worth 80% of their trading profits up to a maximum of £2,500 per month for the next 3 months.
