GP practices should have access to to test for the COVID-19 not just hospitals.

Rejected 16 signatures

What the petition asks

The uk GP surgery’s should have the ability to have access to the COVID-19 test to free up time for the ambulance service and inform patients that don’t need emergency hospital treatment but have the symptoms of COVID-19.
At the moment the UK government are only testing people that are taken to hospital for COVID-19 ,if you go to your local GP surgery they tell you that you have the symptoms, but they cannot test you. If you are not in life-threatening situation there is no way of really knowing if you’ve actually got COVID-19. This will not only get the UK government a more accurate number of cases but also prevent the spreading of COVID-19 and possible deaths.
