Rejected 20 signatures

What the petition asks

Review how the financial sector can help with Covid-19 outbreak. These measures should be appropriate and reflect the temporary nature. This could be a voluntary one-off payments for an amount to be specified by government or an emergency tax. Must not be passed to consumers for at least 5 years.
For the same reasons we bailed out the banks in 2008.

Why it was rejected

It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We're not sure exactly what you'd like to be taxed and how.

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
