What the petition asks

Government intervention for businesses affected by the Coronavirus pandemic covers wages of up to £2,500 a month and designed to help protect workers from job loss. There is not the same guarantee for the millions of self-employed people in the UK.

Update the plan for the self-employed of all industries (including those freelancers set up as limited companies where they are the only director/employee) to match their support of the employed workforce during the Coronavirus Pandemic.
