What the petition asks
The British public would like to show its appreciation for all the front-line NHS staff dealing with the outbreak of COVID-19, by recompensing their efforts with an extra £2000, paid as a one off tax free lump sum.
In the face of austerity, our NHS front-line stands firm to defend our country, a free for public, coordinated workforce is standing ready to protect her people, therefore, suitable recompense should be issued to reward their efforts and show her people stand in solidarity, with them. A £2000 bonus for the NHS front-line is a modest but respectable figure to issue tax free for the work that is being done to treat and prevent COVID-19.
