Add Locksmiths to the Key Workers List during COVID-19

What the petition asks
Locksmiths are currently not named on the government’s Key Workers list.
We believe locksmiths should be added to the Key Worker list during Coronavirus COVID-19, to enable them to respond to emergency situations for example where Care Homes or Hospitals may need a locksmith urgently.

Due to the emergency nature of jobs a locksmith does, as well as the key support the profession provides to both Key worker categories as well as vulnerable individuals and emergency services, it is vital that locksmiths are able to travel to and perform their work without worrying about childcare requirements or any potential “lockdown”.
